Pro-Phe-Arg-AMC is a kallikrein peptide substrate. Pro-Phe-Arg-AMC is recognized and hydrolyzed by kallikrein at the peptide bond on the carboxyl side of the arginine residue. Pro-Phe-Arg-AMC can be used for quantitative detection of kallikrein activity[1].
