Synthetic peptide corresponding to sequence C-DKENNKAKRDILK, from the internal region of human RPGRIP1L. Species Sequence Homology: canine
RPGRIP1L can localize to the basal body-centrosome complex or to primary cilia and centrosomes in ciliated cells. This protein has been found to interact with nephrocystin-4. Defects in this gene are a cause of Joubert syndrome type 7 (JBTS7) and Meckel syndrome type 5 (MKS5). Applications: Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, ~150kD band observed in human brain (cerebellum) lysates. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Cerebellum Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
