MaxLight(TM)650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)647, DyLight(TM)649, Cy5(TM) and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm), Emission (676nm), Extinction Coefficient 250,000. CD29 forms non-covalent bonds with the integrin alpha subunits, including CD51 and CD49a-f, to form heterodimers. The ligands for these heterodimers include collagen, fibronectin, laminin and vascular adhesion molecule-1. In the immune system beta 1 integrins play an important role in cell adhesion, migration, activation and differentiation. CD29 is reported to inhibit beta 1 integrin mediated adhesion. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat, 1:25-1:50. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: frozen Optimal dilution determined by the researcher Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the PAI mouse myeloma cell line. Caution: MaxLight(TM)650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
