Recombinant Influenza A was harvested from Allantoic fluid of 10 days old embryonated eggs, inoculated with the influenza strain- A/Kiev/301/94 (/Johannesburg/33/94). Dimers and Aggregates: 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Immunological activity: Has been tested with anti-influenza A monoclonal antibodies in ELISA. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
