MaxLight(TM)490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight(TM)488, Alexa Fluor(TM)488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm), Emission (515nm), Extinction Coefficient 73,000. SHP2 is a 68kD member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family. SHP2 acts downstream of growth factor receptors and cytoplasmic protein tyrosine kinases which transduce signals from cell surface to the nucleus. The recruitment and activation of SHP2 is mediated through the binding of CD172a to its ligand CD47. SHP2 regulates a variety of cellular processes. These include transcription, embryonic development, cell growth, cell migration, differentiation, mitotic cycle, haematopoiesis and oncogenic transformation. As a result, dysregulation of the SHP2 gene has been linked to LEOPARD, Noonan and Noonan-like syndrome as well as acute myeloid leukaemia. SHP2 is ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels found in heart, brain, and skeletal muscle. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
