Recombinant protein corresponding to Thr20-Leu1639 of mouse Siglec-1, expressed in NS0 cells
The siglecs are a family of membrane bound lectins (of the immunoglobulin superfamily) that bind sialic acid and mediate cell-cell interactions. Family members include sialoadhesin, CD22 and CD33. Sialoadhesin is a macrophage-specific cell adhesion molecule that is expressed on activated macrophages in chronic inflammation and in tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml with recombinant mouse Siglec-1/CD169 Fc Chimera Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
