Synthetic peptide corresponding to, C-RSTAKAPSDTPAHE, from human TCF19, at C-terminal (NP_009040.1).
SC1 is a extracellular matrix glycoprotein playing an important role in neural developmental processes like axon guidance and synaptogenesis. Higher resolution analysis using electron microscopy indicated that SC1 localizes to synapses. SC1 was also detected in perisynaptic glial processes that envelop synapses. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml, observed in 293 lysate on ~35kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
