Synthetic peptide, RKRVPDHHPC, from CCT2, conjugated to Ovalbumin.
TCP-1b (Chaperonin containing T complex polypeptide 1, subunit 2) belongs to the TCP-1 chaperonin family, predicted molecular weight 57kD. Chaperonin-containing TCP-1 is a large multisubunit complex of 800-900kD, a protein complex considered to be the cytosolic homologue of mitochondrial HSP60. TCP-1b has been shown to interact with b-actin, 14-3-3, SUMO4, TCP-1a, b-Tubulin, a-Tubulin and CCT8. In vitro, TCP-1b mediates the ATP-dependent folding of tubulin, actin, and a-transducin. This protein is also essential for cyclin E maturation and accumulation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/5ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
