The intact CCT complex is composed of eight polypeptides in a double-ring structure. CCT is important within cells in aiding the folding of proteins including actin, tubulin and the VHL tumor suppressor protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Gel Super Shift Assay, Immunoprecipitation, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:500, detects a band of ~60kD in lysates of heat shocked Hela cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
