Multiple Tumor Tissue Array - 15 different tumors and their corresponding normal tissues spotted in duplicate. Tissues: Placenta (control), Bladder, brain, breast, colon, esophagus, kidney, liver, lung, rectum, skin, small intestine, stomach, thymus, thyroid and uterus, Paraffin tissue slides suitable for use in identifying cellular localization of RNA or protein using in situ hybridization or immunohistochemistry. Human tissue of ~5um thickness is paraffin-embedded and mounted on a positively-charged glass slide. The FDA standard tissue array is suitable for meeting US FDA requirements for IHC (Immunohistochemistry) and IVD (In vitro Diagnostic Devices) certification, and the European CE Mark. This tissue array has two slides which contain 30 different human normal tissue types, 3 donors per tissue type and 41 of the most popular human tumor tissue samples. Tissues were fixed in formalin after excision and embedded in paraffin. Tissue sections are 6um in thickness and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Each tissue sample is ~1.5mm in diameter. A reference chart shows all the tissue names and their respective position is conveniently located on the array. This product can be used for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridiza-tion. It is an ideal product for rapid cellular localization of RNA and protein expression. Quality Control: 1. 5 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to be stained with H.E to ensure consistent images. 2. 5 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to be immunostained by Actin monoclonal antibody. The images were consistent. 3. 2 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to do in situ hybridization with Dig-Actin probe. Note: Every single tissue array is well maintained with good quality, but there might be some variations between slides, for example, one spot might be missing cells due to the end of serial cut. But there should be no more than 3 spots are without expected cells. Contents: 2 arrays per package Shelf Life: One year from the date of receipt under proper storage conditions.
