Recombinant fragment of human BMI1 protein (around aa 142-326) (exact sequence is proprietary)
Alternative Names:
B lymphoma Mo MLV insertion region 1 homolog, BMI1, BMI1 polycomb ring finger oncogene, FLVI2/BMI1, Oncogene BMI1, PCGF4, Polycomb complex protein BMI-1, Polycomb group ring finger 4, RING finger protein 51, RNF51
The B cell-specific moloney murine leukemia virus integration site 1 (Bmi-1) is a transcriptional receptor of the polycomb gene family involved in several cellular processes including cell-cycle regulation, apoptosis, and maintenance of adult and neoplastic stem cells by providing self-renewal capacity. Further, Bmi-1 expression has been associated with malignant transformation, tumor progression, metastatic disease, and poor prognosis in human malignancies.
Western Blot (1-2ug/ml),Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95&degC followed by cooling at RT for 2
