Alkaline Phosphatase Avidin D is made by conjugating high specific activity alkaline phosphatase from calf intestine to affinity-purified Avidin D. Alkaline phosphatase : Avidin D molar ratios are optimal and our coupling procedure allows maximum retention of enzyme activity. Alkaline Phosphatase Avidin D is recommended for use in solid-phase assays. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Ratio of enzyme to Avidin D (molar): 1 Specific Activity: 880 units/mg conjugate Unit Definition: One unit is 1umole p-nitrophenylphosphate hydrolyzed/min. at 37 C, pH 9.8. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C before and after reconstitution. DO NOT FREEZE! Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months at 4C after receipt. Reconstitute lyophilized powder with sterile ddH2O prior to use and store remainder as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
