Human IgM (myeloma) Fc5µ fragment consists of only the µ (mu) chain of the Fc fragment. Applications: Suitable for use as antigen or ligand in immunochemical reactions, as a control or standard in assays, for conjugation and most other immunological methods requiring highly purified immunoglobulins. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Purity:
Purified from human IgM myeloma protein by digestion with trypsin followed by column chromatography. Purity was assessed by SDS-PAGE and HPLC to be greater than 95%.
