Control Peptide for 583145. Synthetic peptide corresponding to 14aa near the center of Avian influenza NS2. Used for blocking the activity of anti-NS2 antibody. Source: Synthetic Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Antibody activity is usually completely blocked in ELISA assays by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 minutes at 37C. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
