| Sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) is a 45kD plasma glycoprotein dimer. SHBG is an androgen transport protein which binds and regulates the free concentration of steroid hormones and is involved in steroid signalling at the cell membrane. This antibody shows minimal cross-reactivity with other human serum proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
