Immunogen:
Amino acid residues 25-38 (APARCEEYDYYGWQ) of human SFRP5. Species Sequence Homology: 92% identical to bovine, 85% identical to rat and 78% identical to mouse.
Human secreted frizzled-related protein 5 (SFRP5), which appears to act by modulating Wnt signal transduction. Wnts have been implicated in embryonic induction, cell fate determination, control of cell polarity and malignant transformation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
