Porcine SWC1a was originally assigned at the 1st International Swine Cluster of Differentiation (CD) Workshop. SWC1a is a cell surface molecule which is expressed by most leukocytes including resting T-cells, monocytes and granulocytes. SWC1a is not expressed by B lymphocytes. SWC1a and SWC9 have been used as markers of monocyte-macrophage differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
