Syntaxin, a 33kD molecule with carboxy terminal membrane anchor, is a synaptic protein identified by its ability to interact with the synaptic vesicle protein synaptotagmin. It contains one 1 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domain and has been implicated in docking at synaptic vesicles of presynaptic neurotransmitter release sites. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot ( A-431 lysate, mouse lung lysate): 1:500-1:1000 Western Blot (transfected 293T lysate): 1:1000-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
