Synthetic peptide (IEPLMEPEGESYEDPPQE) corresponding to aa108- 125 of human Beta-Synuclein
Human beta synuclein is a soluble protein highly abundant in presynaptic nerve terminals and a member of the synuclein family. It could act as a physiological negative regulator of Alpha-Synuclein aggregation and it is associated with neurodegenerative disordes.This protein has been shown to be a substrate for phosphorylation by CAM kinase. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
