Recombinant protein corresponding to aa384-504 from human TBX18 expressed in E.coli (O95935).
TBX18 is a 607aa 65kD protein that is a member of the T-box family of developmentally expressed transcription factors. It is developmentally expressed in the anterior portion of the head, somites and limb buds. It is expressed on pluripotent progenitors in the developing epicardium where it is required for formation of the cardiac AV node, and can also contribute to fibroblast and smooth muscle formation. Within the region used as an immunogen, human TBX18 shares 93% aa identity with mouse and rat TBX18. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed Saos-2 human osteosarcoma cell line Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C after receipt. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
