Synthetic peptide corresponding to QRPCQSYNGKQVYKE, from the internal region of human TM4SF3/TSPAN8 (NP_004607.1).
TM4SF3 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. TM4SF3 is known to complex with integrins. Its gene is expressed in different carcinomas. The use of alternate polyadenylation sites has been found for TM4SF3 gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:16,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
