Immunogen:
Recombinant protein corresponding to Lys122-Lys237 from mouse Themis expressed in E.coli.
Themis also called Gasp (Grb2-associating protein), is a 72kD, 641aa cytosolic phosphoprotein mainly expressed in late double-negative and double-positive thymocytes. It is involved in thymocyte positive and negative selection through regulation of TCR signaling. Within the region used as an immunogen, mouse Themis shares 87% and 96% aa sequence identity with human and rat Themis. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
