The thyrotrophin receptor is an important molecule in controlling the growth and function of the normal thyroid. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:1000. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:1000-1:2000. Does not require protein digestion pretreatment of paraffin sections. Does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining paraffin sections. Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1/Ag4.1 myeloma cell line. Recommended Positive Control Tissue: Thyroid gland Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
