Synthetic peptide corresponding to the first 16aa, Asp-Ser-Glu-Glu-Asp-Glu-Glu-His-Thr-Ile-Ile-Thr-Asp-Thr-Glu-Cys at the N-terminal of human Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor.
TFPI is the main physiological inhibitor of the extrinsic coagulation pathway. It is a Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor comprising three tandem units, the first and second units inhibit Factor VIIa/tissue factor complex and factor Xa respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Extinction Coefficient: E1% at 1cm, 280nm =14.0 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
