Recombinant protein corresponding to Leu23-Lys211 from mouse TFPI2, expressed in NS0 cells. Species Sequence Homology: rat, 86%, human and chimpanzee, 58%, canine, 54%.
TFPI-2 is a secreted protein that inhibits several serine proteases. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml with appropriate secondary reagents detects mouse TFPI-2. The detection limit for recombinant mouse TFPI-2 is ~5ng/well. Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents detects mouse TFPI-2. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for recombinant mouse TFPI-2 is ~10ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Reducing conditions are not recommended for use. Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml to immunoprecipitate recombinant mouse TFPI-2 from conditioned cell culture medium. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
